Want to firm your skin and stop Hair Loss? Take Astaxanthin for only 14 days.

Prevention of skin sagging, wrinkles, and hyper-pigmentation ?

Reversing the outward signs of dermal aging?

      Sunscreen in a capsule?

Significantly Reduce DHT levels, and DHT binding to Androgen Receptors?

You have good reason to be skeptical of any compound or combination compound that claims to do all this..

However, there just so happens to be natural compounds that industry research and published studies are showing have all these benefits at a low cost with additional side benefits as opposed to side effects. As Dr. Mercola stated: This is a little miracle your plastic surgeon won’t want you to hear about.

Astaxanthin, a recently discovered relative of beta carotene and lycopene, is evidently the most potent natural antioxidant known to date.

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid. Carotenoids give certain foods their colors, such as watermelon, red beets, carrots, cantaloupes, etc.

Carotenoids are involved in photosynthesis, and protect plants and other organisms from ultra violet light. Humans, it has been discovered get the same benefit from consuming carotenoids.

Of the 700 naturally occurring carotenoids, Astaxanthin has found to be the most potent, and has stimulated an ever increasing amount of research.

Of particular interest to the scientific community is the ability of Astaxanthin to protect your skin from sun exposure from the inside out.

Astaxanthins benefits however, go well beyond its effects on skin. These additional benefits include cardiovascular benefits, blood sugar stabilization, cancer chemo prevention and treatment, inflammation and athletic performance.

Astaxanthin is manufactured by Haemococcus pluvialis, a microalgae, to protect it from UV radiation and lack of nutrition. It functions as a protective barrier. This protective barrier is also formed in human skin when Astaxanthin is taken in sufficient quantities. In addition to microalgae, Astaxanthin is also present in Salmon, Shellfish, and Pink Flamingos, giving all of them their pink coloration.

The unique endurance displayed by Salmon in their annual reproductive treks upstream has been concluded to be largely a function of their Astaxanthin content. In controlled studies, Astaxanthin supplementation has been shown to increase endurance exercise capacity in humans as well.

Astaxanthin is significantly stronger than other carotenoids, and appears to protect all cells, including hair follicles, from oxidative damage. It is 65 times more potent than vitamin C, 54 times more potent than beta carotene, and 14 times stronger than vitamin E.

Astaxanthin is particularly effective at quenching singlet oxygen, an extremely potent free radical implicated in a variety of disorders, including cancer.

Astaxanthin crosses both the blood brain and retinal barriers, reducing the risk for both cataracts and Alzheimers.

Astaxanthin, when compounded with phospholipids, is 12 times better absorbed, according to several studies.

There are also no known negative side effects (only benefits) associated with Astaxanthin supplementation.

Sunburn is established to be an inflammatory process. When supplementing with Astaxanthin you are producing your own sun protection from the inside out. The same compound that shields algae from sun light is shielding you as well.

Well published dermatologist Dr. Perricone, ( author of the Wrinkle Cure)enthusiastically endorses Astaxanthin for its anti- aging effects on skin.

Several Surfers on the Pro Tour use Astaxnathin not only for sun protection, but to enhance their endurance as well.

In addition to copious testimonials and anecdotal evidence, scientific studies have substantiated these skin protective effects.

A paper published in the Journal of Dermatological Science found Astaxanthin protected against DNA mutations in human skin induced by UV radiation.

In a trial conducted by Cyanotech , it was found that after taking Astaxanthin, 4mg, for 3 weeks, the time it took for subjects to exhibit sunburn in response to UV radiation dramatically increased.

Another study published in the International Journal of Vitamin and Nutrition Research concluded Astaxanthin was substantially effective at preventing photo aging of the skin.

In further research, Arakane found that Astaxanthin not only prevented UV induced collagen degradation, but age related wrinkling as well.

Although there is some evidence appears to offer some topical benefit, by far the most significant benefit comes from oral ingestion.

Can Astaxanthin make you more attractive to the opposite sex?

Other studies conclude that even short term Astaxanthin supplementation significantly improves both wrinkling and laxity in addition to skin coloration, giving skin a light tan look.

One, conducted in Japan showed improvements in wrinkling after only 2 weeks, and even more improvement ( as defined by moisture retention, elasticity/snap back skin tone, and reduction of under eye bags), at the 4 week point.

Another European study showed that a 4 mg dose of Astaxanthin improved Dermal Density by 78%, which is an accepted marker of skin aging and elasticity. This has important implications for hair growth as well, since dermal density in areas affected by MPB are diminished.

Another, rather fascinating discovery about Astaxanthin is its ability to confer a coloration on the skin that is perceived as more attractive by the opposite sex. Studies have shown that this natural light tan coloration is perceived as even more appealing than a natural sun tan.

This coloration, which was uniformly perceived as indicating a healthier state, appears to have implications for mate selection in the Animal Kingdom as well, among certain species.

For optimal effects, it is imperative that Astaxanthin be from a natural source (Algae vs petrochemicals), and that it be compounded with phospholipids to opitimize its absorption.

Astaxanthin from natural sources has been shown to be 20 times stronger than that derived from perochemicals.

When Astaxanthin is compounded with phospholipids, its bioavailability and skin concentrations are enhanced by a factor of 12.

As featured in a prior update Astaxanthin, when combined with Saw Palmetto and Beta SitoSterols, has the effect of dramatically reducing serum DHT, and that’s not all. It also, unlke Propecia, LOWERS estrogen, and RAISES Testosterone, providing an array of healthy hormonal benefits for men.

Our Recommendation: Use an Astaxanthin Supplement 4 mg, compounded with Phospholipids singularly for the prevention of skin aging and in combination with Phytosterols ( such as the Ultra Natural Prostate Formula or Super Saw Palmetto w/beta sitosterol) for hair growth stimulation.
